So I ran across a sweet website tool over at flickr and it was so easy to set up, I did it all by myself. You can now see my flickr photos as they should be seen (large and with a black background) here. I’m calling this my photoblog since that’s essentially what flickr has become for me anyway (even though I don’t upload pictures to that site enough either). I should probably get some grading done today. . . maybe later.
Huzzah! It’s the second day of spring break and I finally got a step up on Hope with the first post. I had lots of topics to post, but today of course I throw them all out the door to announce a major visual upgrade to the rest of my website. I heart this wordpress theme, so that’s not going anywhere, but I’ve updated my main page and fixed the photography section so it doesn’t completely suck. I made the old pages in dreamweaver, but since I don’t remember any HTML, I’ve switched over to using iWeb since it makes nice simple pages (what I like). Also, since I just had a quasi-gig doing engagement pictures, I’ve created a password protected client page. That’s right, I did something halfway technical and didn’t ask Hope. I am proud of myself today and it’s only 3:30.
[singlepic=1,400,500,watermark] So today is Veteran’s Day and to honor those who fought for our country, I am playing with a new image plugin. The picture in this post, is an oldie from when I first got my lensbaby. Enjoy!
I just installed ZenPhoto and now have a functioning photography link on the front page of my site. Alternately you can very simply click here. Right now I only have a test album up with some pictures of REI employees at our local A League Baseball game, but there will be more including my portfolio soon.
